Goal Post: Week 3

Due to fighting a funk this week, this was a harder week than the last two. However, I have militantly stuck to my one pepsi a day rule, although some days this is so much harder. I wish I could go pepsi free, but I get bad headaches when I try. Yay for caffeine dependency! (not.)

I didn't go walking this week like I had aimed to. But I did get some cleaning done, and one night spent some time chasing the kids around the house, and did work up a sweat doing that. I think I need to talk to the hubby though and find a time every day where I can get out and go for a walk, maybe even a run. I have bad knees though. I actually like to run, so it's sad that I can't. Well, I can, but when I do, the aftermath isn't fun. Usually swollen knees and pain walking for a few days.

I am fighting against using food as a comfort thing. I am too used to eating until I am full. I need to learn to just eat till I am satisfied.

When I weighed myself yesterday, I thought I had lost a few pounds, but when weighed myself just now, I haven't, so don't know what's up with that.

Hang in there. We're all bound to have our rough weeks, but the key will be how we bounce back and get back on track. I think finding time everyday just for you - to exercise, get away, whatever - is such a great idea. Even if it's only for a half hour!

You are doing great, we all have off weeks! I think setting a time, just for you is a great idea...I know that getting time alone, does wonders for my mood. Also, my doc recommends weighing only once a week, at the same time because you weight fluctuates by a few pounds each day. I do Monday mornings (so I am accountable for the weekend when I slack a bit) right after I get up and go to the bathroom but before my shower.

I love the idea of scheduling some time just for you. I'm trying that this week (thorugh an online scrapbook class) and I am looking forward to making myself a priority for once!
