This is kind of awesome

Apparently there is this new band, called N.E.D. There is a giveaway contest happening, where you can win a $50 gift card, a music book, and CD by this band.

I normally don't blog about this kind of stuff. However, this one I just had to. Who is N.E.D. you make ask? Well get this, it's a band made up of gynecologic cancer surgeons. Totally not kidding. Their mission is to raise awareness about women's reproductive cancers.

Of course, this is near and dear to my heart. My mother had cervical cancer. She valiantly fought it, and its complications for years until she lost the fight in 2005.

So HERE is where the giveaway is happening. Go there, show some love and enter, and spread the word. This is a band that needs to get famous.
