Holiday memories of Christmas past: Episode 4

Just a short one, inspired by the last episode. Christmas movies! Christmas Vacation was always a staple, as was the Charlie Brown Christmas one. There are others that make me nostalgic for childhood though, and I love watching them with my kids, namely Home Alone and Home Alone 2, Santa Claus: The Movie, and that whole set of movies that go together. You know, the claymation ones, like Rudolph, Santa Claus, and The Little Drummer Boy.

As for more adult oriented ones, gotta give props to Love Actually and of course, A Christmas Story.

Others that are on my radar: Ernest Saves Christmas, Elf, Dr. Seuss' Grinch, Mickey's Christmas Carol, and The Santa Clause.

Yes, I realize my list leaves out some classics, but those never really did much for me. I know, I know, sacrilege!

What about you? What are your must-have Christmas movies?

A Christmas Story and the primetime classics (Rudolph, Frosty, & Charlie Brown specifically. I've never seen It's a Wonderful Life start to finish - does that make me less of a person?

If it makes you less of a person, then it makes me one too. I think I've seen the end? But that's about it.
