The final countdown!

Four days to go! And I know all of you out there are ready! Presents are all bought and wrapped, food is all planned out and purchased, all decorations are up and in optimum feng shui positions! Right? Right?!

*crickets chirping*

Yeah, me neither.

I think I've wrapped 5? presents. Most of the food is bought, I think. It all depends on if I decide to serve any more at Christmas dinner. I still haven't even finalized that meal plan yet. Oh wait, and I just realized that a main component of Christmas Eve dinner is not in our pantry. Hmm, guess I'll have to do something about that too.

I think I know where all of our stockings are. Hopefully. We still don't have a way to hang them on the fireplace yet though. Should probably figure that out too.

So, as you can see, this Christmas is fast approaching, and I am at my usual state of preparedness. Martha Stewart, eat your heart out.

Christmas is exhausting, isn't it? When will it be our turn to just sit back and enjoy it?

I'm waiting for The General to get home from work so I can get groceries. Nothing like leaving the house at 11 pm in below zero weather for Christmas Eve dinner food!
