2007: A Recap

Yeah, it's a few days early, but I don't know what we're going to be doing on Monday yet, and wanted to get this posted.

January- Me and the kids get home from spending the holidays traveling. Jeremy was in Iraq, where he had been for 3 months.

February- We had to evacuate our home due to a large fire that started when a wind storm knocked down some power lines. The grass was basically like kindling because we had been in a drought for two years. Thankfully no homes were destroyed.

March- Took the kids to Sea World, did "Dinner with Shamu" and had an awesome time.

April- A freak snowstorm hit where we live Easter weekend. Ryan turned 7 and had his birthday cake about catch on fire. To top that month off, a can of fruit cocktail exploded in the kitchen.

May- Jeremy came home on R&R, but had to go back the day before our anniversary. Hannah learned to crawl.

June- Logan turned 3, and I made him a kick butt Spiderman cake. Hannah learned to pull up.

July- Robins nested in our rose bush, 4th of July came and went. Ryan cut Lindsay's hair off and then the following day, she busted her forehead open badly when she tripped over a mop and fell against the kitchen table. I had a birthday, and then Hannah had her 1st birthday a few days later.

August- We went to a family reunion in Nebraska. Our toilet had a mysterious bubbling incident. Then the first day of school came, and Ryan started 2nd grade and Lindsay started pre-k.

September- We got a new family member, Vader the kitty. We got the news Jeremy would not be extended after all. Logan started speech therapy.

October- We had a tragedy in our neighborhood when a small child fell out of an upstairs window not 3 doors down from our house. Jeremy came home. We had a fun Halloween.

November- We started to realize Logan may be autistic. We spent Thanksgiving at the beach. Lindsay turned 5.

December-we get the news we really will get to move away from here. Christmas comes and goes, and I successfully made my first turkey.

Happy New Year to all of you.
