Lessons Learned

Lessons learned on our trip:

-Kids who sleep in the car the entire way down, do not want to sleep once you get there. Even if it is 2 a.m.

-It is possible to get sunburned in November.

-Apparently, sand is a delicacy to one year olds.

-Eating at your favorite Mexican restaurant in the whole world, while you are so stuffed up you literally can't taste anything. . .sucks.

-Eating Thanksgiving dinner, while you still can't taste anything. . .sucks.

-Same thing about ice cream.

-And pizza.

-No matter how many times you visit the sea turtle rescue center, it never gets boring.

-Going out late at night during high tide to look for shells equals lots of running from waves.

-It also equals a great time.

-Having to go home at the end of a vacation stinks just as much as an adult as it did as a kid.
