The eldest princess is a whole hand!

Well, her birthday was actually a little over a week ago, but I didn't get a chance to do an update for it. She actually got to enjoy an extended birthday too, because mommy made a mistake. See, I took everything down there so we could do her party at the condo. Or so I thought.

Morning of her birthday I started to get everything out. Cake mix? Check. Baking supplies? Check. Presents? Check. Stuff to decorate condo and cake with? *silence* Uh oh. And her birthday was a theme she had picked out online months prior. So I couldn't just run to the store and get more. She was very gracious though, and as long as she could still open her presents that day, she agreed to have the cake and all that stuff after we got home.

I still can't believe she is five. Although, in another way, she has seemed five already for a long time. She is an "old soul" I guess. Even her teacher commented that she is really mature for her age. Apparently she even helps with the other kids in class and things like that, which makes me really proud.

Some pictures of the festivities
