Google: a deeper look into the human race

Ah, google. A part of our lives so much that even the word "google" has become a verb. Today though, let's delve into the deeper mysteries. Everyone knows that when you start to type in a search query, that suggestions pop up based on what other people have searched for.

Let's explore this, shall we?

We'll start with the basic "why". (if you can't read it, click to see it full size)

I'm not sure what it says about us as a society when three of the suggestions have to do with Chris Brown.

Let's add to the search with the word "is".

This is a much more varied cross section. Although I think "why is my poop green" is my favorite. Half a million hits on that one, as it is truly one of the greater questions in life.

Let's get more philosophical.

Anyone who knows me will know what my favorite one in that list is. "god is an astronaut". I dare anyone to argue with that logic.

Finally, we'll take a look into the mirror.

I think this is one of those instances where it is so sad it's funny.

As my parting gift to you, if you haven't yet been introduced to this, go to google. Type in "find chuck norris". Hit the "I'm feeling lucky" button. You're welcome!

Actually if you look at the time posted, it was more a case of insomnia gnomes. :)
