Ah, Spring

After being under a winter storm warning last weekend, the schizophrenic weather here has done a complete 180. It's beautiful outside. Blue skies, warm weather, birds chirping, trees budding, all that good stuff. I have been trying desperately to get the kids to play outside as much as humanly possible. Why is it than when the weather is awful, they complain about wanting to play outside, then perfect weather comes along, and they're like "Nah, we'd rather stay in." It's enough to drive me insane.

I eventually get them outside though, and we have a great time. Hannah finally has gotten the hang of the trampoline, and is so fun to watch as she jumps and just laughs and laughs.

This is my first time to experience a real Spring. In Texas it doesn't really happen. The weather just goes from cold to hot over night. So this is my first real Spring that I can remember. And I am fully getting into the spirit. Today I threw the windows open while I cleaned, I refilled our bird feeder, and I beheld the wonders of blowing dandelions with my kids.

Spring is also a season of change. Big changes are happening around here. I wish I could talk about them here. I really could use to spew it all out, but this blog is too public, and the topics are too personal, and do not include just me. If it were just me, I'd probably end up writing about it. But they aren't, so I have to just talk in hints and suggestions. I am approaching the big changes the same way I do with all change. I am terrified, but daring to be hopeful too. We'll see where my path ends up heading.
