Home sweet home

Our trip was fun. The drive was long, but the kids actually did pretty well and we had a good time. Did I mention the drive was long?

We drove through 5 states, with a round trip of over 1600 miles. In 5 days. I don't know if I've said anything about it, but it was a long drive.

We got to see family, and eat great food, and stayed in a hotel with an indoor pool. Which was the highlight of the kids' trip I'm sure, even though they only got to swim once, for about an hour.

A few random shots from the trip. (For those of you on Facebook, there is a whole album to look through!) As always, click each to see it bigger.

The other three kids chasing birds

Did I tell you it was a long drive?

I so know what you mean, I think we ended up at 1997.2 but I would have to pull the pic off my phone to be sure. Glad you had a good time!

Glad you had a good trip! It's been a while for us, and as much as looong drives are tough - seeing your first picture made me get that excited "we/re going somewhere" feeling.

Great pics too, I'll have to ck the rest out on facebook! Hannah looks like such a little girl now *sniff*
