Salvation in the form of a B-52

As I was piddling away on the computer the other day, I opened up Google Earth for the heck of it. The kids like to look at the part of the map where daddy is now. So Ryan is standing there and then I have this brilliant idea. You see, we have been heavily discussing why we have Christmas and the true meaning, yadda yadda yadda. Not far from where daddy is stationed is Israel. Being the ever-on-my toes mom that I am, I go over to that part of the image and zoom in.

"Look Ryan! Here's where Jesus was born!" He actually looked mildly interested, so we looked at different things, and then it slipped out of my mouth "And around here somewhere is where they killed him." (I hadn't meant to word it that way exactly, but that's what came out) So we had a little talk about that. He wanted to know all the ins and outs of who had done it. I was getting excited, thinking he was wanting to know more about the why's and all the good stuff. I was wrong though, apparently he was wanting to know so he knew who to put the contract out on. He knows Jesus loves him, and NOBODY messes with Ryan's homeboys.

So I explained that this happened a very long time ago, almost 2,000 years, and he looked contemplative for a moment. Then he held up the plane in his hand and said "Yeah, and then the good guys flew over there and bombed the bad guys."

Hmm, I don't think I'm quite familiar with THAT verse. . .
