How to know that maybe it's time for a night away from the kids:

When your children are watching the newest Care Bears movie for the umpteenth time, and you find yourself sort of bobbing your head with the beat of one of the songs.

Proving the point even further:

You look over and your husband is doing the exact same thing.

My wife and I got out together without the House Ape for the first time since July on Monday.
